Scholarship Opportunity at Durham University for OzU IR Students and Graduates!

We’re excited to announce a special opportunity for Özyeğin University International Relations students and graduates!

Thanks to a new Articulation Agreement between Özyeğin University’s Department of International Relations and Durham University’s School of Government and International Affairs, OzU IR students and graduates are now eligible for a 10% tuition scholarship for postgraduate programs at Durham's School of Government and International Affairs.

How to Apply for the Durham Scholarship

Students must apply through Durham University’s standard postgraduate application portal, following the usual steps with one important addition:

- Fill out the Nomination Form (shared in the original email).

- Have it signed by either Dr. Samarjit Ghosh or Prof. Deniz Ş. Sert.

- Upload it to the portal as your 'Scholarship Document.'

This step ensures that Durham Admissions can correctly identify OzU IR applicants and apply the 10% scholarship under the partnership agreement.

Application Deadline & Eligibility

Durham University has set the application deadline as 30 April 2025 for enrollment in September 2025.

- Current students can apply using their current transcripts and may receive a conditional offer. Final transcripts can be submitted later for an unconditional offer.

- Graduates can apply directly with their final transcripts and are eligible for unconditional offers.

Students and graduates with a GPA of 3.0 or higher are strongly encouraged to apply.
