Information on the Use of the Sports Center on April 24-25

Dear Esteemed Özü Family,

It has been announced as an administrative holiday on April 24-25, 2025 by our university. In this context, the Sports Center will remain closed until Saturday, April 26th. However, the outdoor sports facilities will be open for controlled use during this period.

During the inspections at the Sports Center, no structural damage has been detected. However, due to ongoing aftershocks, it has been deemed appropriate to temporarily close enclosed areas such as the pool and fitness center, as they may pose a safety risk.

Upon the cessation of aftershocks and a favorable result of the risk assessment, the Sports Center will resume its services starting on Saturday, April 26th. Further announcements regarding this matter will be shared additionally.
