ÖzÜ TTO: TÜBİTAK - BRITISH COUNCIL Bilateral Cooperation Call Now Open

Dear Faculty Members,

TÜBİTAK - British Council Bilateral Cooperation (Institutional Links) Call within the frame of “Kâtip Çelebi-Newton Fund" is now open. The Call aims to support science and innovation partnerships between the UK and Turkey. TÜBITAK is the main delivery partner and British Council is one of the delivery partners of the program in the UK.

The thematic priority areas for the call are as follows:  

Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)

Energy Efficiency Technologies

Health Technologies

Transportation

Agriculture: Precision Agriculture and Precision Horticulture

New Approaches and Methods in Social Sciences and Humanities 

Education: Teacher Education and Learning Outcomes

Economic development, family studies, urban studies and living together 

Optics, photonics, laser, semiconducting technologies

Environmental Management and Policy

Deadline for Application: June 8, 2018

Budget: For the Turkish partner funded by TÜBİTAK: 720.000 TL for projects from Engineering &Physical Sciences, 360.000 TL for projects from Social Sciences

For the UK partner funded by Newton Fund up to £150,000 per project

Project Duration: 24 months

Application: Separate applications UK and Turkey. The application at the Turkish side will be in English.
