Prof. Hasan F. Ateş obtained his B.S. from Bilkent University, Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering in 1998, M.A. degree in 2000 and Ph.D. degree in 2004 in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University. After completing his Ph.D., Dr. Ateş worked at Sabancı University (2004-2005), Işık University (2005-2018) and İstanbul Medipol University (2018-2022). He joined Özyeğin University as a full-time Professor in 2022. He served as a consultant in several companies and institutions, such as Vestel, Tübitak Bilgem, Obase. His research focuses on image/video processing, computer vision, remote sensing, autonomous systems and deep learning.
